HL-Wood For Sims Old Time Curtains in Multitudes of Colors

Now that Lunie has repo'ed these WFS Old Time Big Barn Curtains,  it has become worthwhile to recolor them in all my (now 93- yikes!) linen colors. There are also my Maxis wood recolors for the rod (disappears into the ceiling with AL) and painted wood versions to match the curtains. The meshes are in the folder as well. I renamed the repo files as well to put "repo" on them, I never want the fixed versions to overwrite, as I never want the old versions to accidentally replace the fixed ones

Ah....see what a simple request can do? Lovely curtains in practically any shade you could think of......heaven :-)

Hopefully someone will see this post. I have these in my game with HL's slaved meshes. The recolors don't come up. I took all CC out of my game except these curtains, and the recolors are there. With CC loaded, I get the main curtains, just no recolors. Could something else be overriding them or something? Thanks for the help.    Deb

Hello altanna! It sounds like you have still have the original non-repositoried curtains somewhere in your dl folder when you load your game with all your cc. If you remove any wfs2bblivfloorcurtain files except for the ones amythestfenix included above, all the recolors should work.

iy's weird...I have no WFS files at all in my game.... I redownloaded Kate;s curtains, and HL's meshes....all is well UNTIL I put my other stuff in. Most is Kayr
s and Helle's, some HL, and a smattering of stuff from MTS ans TSR -- no place I don't trust.I am completely perplexed.

I'd use Kate's renamed mesh files and remove any others you can find.

If that doesn't work you could try renaming Kate's already renamed mesh files by adding a 'z' at the beginning.
Add them loose (not sub-foldered) to your Downloads folder so they will load last.
