Title: SDA Campagne Dresser Recolors: Maxis Match
Post by: amythestfenix on August 03, 2009, 07:19:52 AM
Now that Helle has made this set easy to recolor (http://sims2artists.sublimesims.net/smf/index.php?topic=1604.msg35371#new)  :wub, here are some Maxis-match finishes: lt wood, dk wood, med wood, black wood, white wood, cherry, Seasons pine (not shown), quaint red, quaint blue, quaint green, LACK black, and LACK white.

Now that SimsDesignAve is gone, you can get the Campagne Dresser necessary for this set in this folder HERE (http://www.mediafire.com/?81nfzfi3ecchx4p) if you don't have it.

Thank you very much for these lovely recolors. :love :love :love

By the way.....I think I can split the handles into a separate subset. I thought of that the other day but then I decided just to finish the set. But you are right - this would look lovely. I think I will try.

I also have planned to make a handle recol in some golden metal, I got a texture the other day.

Kind regards, Helle

I have fixed the "handle thing" - have a look at the pictures in the attached file.

I have made 4 new meshes with 2 subsets instead of one and 3 recols of the handlers - covering all the objects you see plus the diningroom ones. I still miss the armoire to make the set perfect and I will also separate the nursery clutter from the shelf to make the set more flexible. I would like to use another gold texture - but I don't think I have any.

Tell me what you think - I'll fix the remaining things and hopefully upload tomorrow, it is bedtime now.

Kind regards, Helle

Those look fantastic, Helle! The contrasting handles just add so much definition to these pieces- I really appreciate your work in making them so much better  :flowers
