Title: IKEA Anes Bed & Dresser, Jules Chair: LACK Colors
Post by: amythestfenix on February 11, 2010, 02:33:24 PM: I've done the IKEA Anes bed & dresser in all the LACK colors (plus my purple and orange) with white rattan inserts, and the Jules chair (not shown) in purple and orange to match. This also recolors the Anes single bed (http://sims2artists.sublimesims.net/smf/index.php?topic=748.0) and side table (http://sims2artists.sublimesims.net/smf/index.php?topic=860.0) by Lunie. Anne has (with Gayle's permission) re-mapped the Anes nursery (http://sims2artists.sublimesims.net/smf/index.php?topic=800) to look great with these recolors! The nursery meshes are now included in this folder as well. Coordinates shown in nursery here (http://sims2artists.com/index.php?topic=2208.0) :)

Kate, do you think the baby and toddler bed's Gayle made will pick up these colors? Sorry, I didn't have time to load the game tonight to check. I love my kids rooms to be matched. Anal, but hey :-)

Post by: amythestfenix on February 12, 2010, 02:33:08 AM: No, Deb; unfortunately the way the textures are mapped on Gayle's set, the rattan texture is applied in an ugly way to the wrong parts of the pieces. Maybe when she gets back (soon, I hope- I miss her!) she'll consider re-mapping it for me so that these textures would apply properly :)

Post by: rgdyanne on February 13, 2010, 01:45:49 AM: Knowing Gayle, I took the liberty of remapping her Anes Nursery set so that it will now take these new textures. This set has the same GUID's as the original and will replace the original set. The pieces were and still are slaved to the Anes Dresser and take all their textures from that. Please let me know if you have any problems.
