Title: Nengi65 french dining set
Post by: Issy on April 01, 2010, 11:27:47 PM
I love the french dining set converted from Sims3 by Nengi65 at Sims Crossing.  However I always wished that the fabric and wood on the chair could be recoloured separately, to keep my folders looking tidy. I asked Nengi for permission and she kindly agreed to let me mess about with her meshes. So here it is, the same set with the same guid but with 2 subsets, and some recolours.

you will find in the .rar the meshes, 12 recolours of the chair and 4 recolours of the table.

The original can be found (http://i203.photobucket.com/albums/aa141/Issy0305/HERE.jpg) (https://www.box.com/s/639656f948a0a2995327) at the archive and all recolours you already have should still work with mine.

:OMG Thanks so much, Issy (and Nengi for allowing it) for converting this to separate subsets! I love your recolors too, they are gorgeous  :wub

Yes! All furniture that has fabric and wood should have 2 subsets. Those should be 1-fabric and 2-wood, NOT 1-wood and fabric and 2-pillows. I want to make one wood recolor to use with every fabric, and then lots of fabric sets to use with my woods. It's really irritating to have to make a white wood for every fabric, and a black wood for every fabric...  :nono:

Excellent idea to split it into 2 - I completely agree with Kate.

And very nice recols too - both wood and textures. Are you planning to create matching bed blankets as well ?  :beg

Bedblankets would be lovely. All those textures are perfect for the beach house....I just made an extra version of your reworked chair slaved to Jonesi Bed Blanket and to the wood on your reworked chair. It is such a lovely chair, but I am too lazy to recolor in all the colors I want. I add it as an attachment, you can use it if you want.

Kind regards, Helle

 :likeit Helle!

I still struggle with the whole slaving thing, so I am glad you did it! Thank you!

I guess I will go do those blankets now.... tehehe
