Convert chair to coffee table? - Lunie doing

While looking for more bedding through Amythystfenix's bedroom section at Laden Swallow, I noticed she used a chair made by the artist who does exotic elements. It is a foot stool style dining chair - pic & mesh here http://www.nectere.net/smf/index.php?PHPSESSID=39a69fc6f9403656660f89cc39b49344&topic=1253.0 and it matches the traditional living room chair by exotic elements in style http://www.exoticelements.org/traditional.html. So I was wondering if someone could convert the foot stool style chair to a coffee table, slaved to the original, as I think it would look great as an ottoman for the traditional chair but would be more functional in that capacity if it was converted to a coffee table. That way, sims would still sit in the chair with the back and use the ottoman as a table, for books and whatnot. More realistic for game play. Or an ottoman/coffee table created using the traditional chair, slaved to it, would be ideal because it would save us a lot of recoloring.

Yes, yes! I love this little footstool and think it would make an excellent table. Since I have lots of recolors already, I would prefer it to be slaved to the footstool, with a different one slaved to the chair, perhaps with the same feet as the chair. I put these at the ends of beds, so if the new footstool was a little wider- say half the double bed width, it would be even better.

I truly feel your pain here! I have some item crashing my game too, but I've been bad lately and haven't isolated the new items from my latest massive downloading spree and tested them BEFORE dropping them into my play game. So now it's a major trial to remember what's new, pull it out, reload, etc. If I weren't so attached to this neighborhood I'd just start over from scratch  :tantrum

Try listing the packages in the d/l folder by modified which should then list the last items added at the bottom.

Well my crashes are the packages I created!   I started over and they work fine now.

Just have to test this one in game.   I have only done a table version of Exotic Elements seat.  Do you also want a table version of that footstool?  They look so similar, but I will do both if you want.

I prefer the Exotic Elements chair done as the end-table/ottoman, as you've done, because there are so many recolors done here for the original, everything would match. Matching is a happy thing!  I would also love a wider one as well that could go at the foot of the bed, like Kate mentioned. Both created from and slaved to the EE traditional chair, rather than the foot stool.

ok.  I will finish just this one and try for a double or 1-1/2 wide one.   So far I think the 1-tile is finished.

But my HD is being flaky...again.  If I have to reformat it will take a bit.
