Solved!: An Open Fireplace
« on: June 25, 2010, 09:19:46 PM »
Please don't ban me for asking this :beg:  Can someone remake the Reflexsims Art Studio fireplace into a working one, instead of a sculpture?  Or make an entirely new, but similar, one?  Link here: http://www.reflexsims.de/index2.html (and are we allowed to mention the Booty?)

Click the pics for bigger ones.

Thank you!  :blowkiss

You can mention the booty here, we are  :pirate ARRRGH friendly!

I'll take a look into the fireplace for you, are you sure that it's just a sculpture? If I'm not mistaken custom fireplaces need a script added to make them work properly. Lunie?

Booty is most definitely allowed!  LoL

Fireplaces need to be cloned from a template and do indeed need a script.

Glad to know this place has fellow pirates! :))

It's definitely a sculpture.  It can only be placed outside and has animated flames going all the time.  I'd add the Booty link, but for some reason I haven't been able to access it all day.  :reaction  I did download the Art Studio again recently, though; so I can send you the meshes if you need them.

Holy Cow the booty is taking forever!

Yeah, go ahead and provide me with the fireplace mesh. That way I can take a look at it compare size etc. I prefer to make my own meshes so what I'll actually do is make my own mesh that's of a similar style, that works. I think I still have the fireplace template....hmmm have to go check that folder........

I got inspired!! My muse must've wanted fire! PNL

Sneak Peak........ The Elements Fireplace

I want to make it more shiny and it's really a 4tile object so trying to decide if I want to fix the footprint or just tell people that their sims will clip it.

Well I got it shinier and fixed the footprint although because of it's size the do still clip it some. However, I cannot seem to get the danged flame to move to where the logs are now that I fixed the footprint, sigh.
