I think it is so sad that the scriptorium system isn't`t used more often. Several of the folders are empty. Is it possible to make, lets say HolySimoly_FirePlaceNEW,  into one needing a script file ?

Not all fireplaces need scripts, and not all objects need scripts.  The type of fireplace determines whether it needs a script or not.

By nature I am very curious and love to learn (the knowledge don't stay very long though, maby in order to make space for new knowledge ??    ), so I wonder, why did Numenor create the Scriptorium and recommend it ??

Is there an easy way to understand this, or is the best thing not to waste time philosophize and just go on playing ??

The reason for the scriptorium really is ease of install for the downloader since the concept of creating stuff is beyond them and most simply what the shiny.   Unless you are a creator or want to create things that the scriptorium uses, I'd just forget about it.

There are just some things that require a custom script to get the cc in game, while most objects do not require this.   Of all those items that need scripts the easiest to make is the modular stairs and fireplaces, the rest are hard to make.  In fact the fences/arches I have yet to figure out how Numenor found those arches to clone.   I would love to play around with arches since they can be placed in the same tile as fences. 

There is one custom foundation at MATY, and if not installed right it will make your pools have issues.  Plus they don't package with lots, and I don't even know if you share a lot with a custom foundation what happens to other users who do/don't have the custom foundation.  Which is probably why there not widely available.
