Pirate Woods, Pirate Colors, Yeti Colors, Yeti Metals
« on: May 09, 2017, 09:43:06 PM »

pirate woods

pirate colors (textures courtesy of amythestfenix)

yeti metals

CuriousB's Yeti Love Song Photoshop actions
cattusamicus' Yeti palette for GIMP
Iakoa's Yeti curves for GIMP

For color consistency, these are the settings I use on all pirate wood recolors (and most yeti recolors):

I didn't have to change the stdMatDiffCoef: 0.8,0.8,0.8 on this one but do eet

stdMatEnvCubeTextureName: reflectionkitchenhighcontrast-envcube is The Worst when it comes to color inconsistency. Click the delete underlined in blue on the right to get rid of it.

sources and thanks:
Goat's original wood
cast iron
old brass
pewter
verdigris
I can't find where the rust texture is from :\

Apologies for the necroposting. I just don't know where to ask this.

Regarding the Yeti palette, both 'periwinkle' and 'shortcake' make my Photoshop (2025) throw an error: "The command "Make" is not currently available".

I chose to stop and look further into what was causing them, and below is exactly what both of them said:
"New: channel
At: mask channel of layer 'Background copy'
Using: mask channel of current layer"

I'm a complete Photoshop rookie and would greatly benefit from some help with this :(
What's going on and how can I fix it?

Hello, sorry I didn't see this sooner. You're using CuriousB's Photoshop actions, correct? I don't use Photoshop so I'm afraid I'm no help  :/
