I wish I was down there with you! Perfect road to go sledging on! The boys have been out on and off since 8 this morning, and I am off out this afternoon with them... I love it, this is like the winters back home when I was little, except that schools didn't close, the traffic was fine, the trains still ran... etc etc !

My biggest giggle of the day... On the news this morning, they said the UNDERGROUND trains were not running because of snow!!!!!  lol :rofl

Makes you wonder if snow is not just an excuse to slack off work... she says, snug at home instead of being at work!!!  :yagami

Just got in from karate. It had started snowing again as we left but not too much - then we followed sempai from the first lesson to the 2nd and thankfully I took the turning into the school wider than him as he spun right in front of us, had I had followed him instead of swinging out wider he would have written both our cars off!  When we came back out after the 2nd lesson we couldn't even see the cars lol  Driving home was a bit scary because the 2nd lesson is in a little village and I have to drive a fair few miles along a small narrow country lane which was about 6 inches deep in snow and I was driving into the snow which is still falling so couldn't see where we were going either!  The main road was pretty clear once we got on it but we literally had both sides of the dual carriageway to ourselves! My road was fun to try and get up, steep hill, 3/4 inches fresh snow - lost the back end twice nearly and was literally only crawling up it at 5mph in 1st gear!!!  By the time we turned round at the top our tracks had already been covered by new snow.  Oh and my winter boots are NOT waterproof!!!

Grrrr I hate the horrible stuff!
