Hemnes Set from HugeLunatic - Deciphering my mapping :/
« on: March 04, 2009, 03:25:49 AM »
HL, I love your IKEA match Hemnes set. Would it be possible to make it repository to the IKEA  dresser or whatever so that it would pick up all my existing recolors without my having to transfer them all? Do feel free to say no if it's too hard/too time-consuming.

Lunie is on a mac so unlikely to have ikea.  If she is ok with it I'll do them for her :))

Thanks. :)  I didn't know anyone used it now with IKEA out!

It is not mapped very well.  It was my first mesh set, that was actually done a year before I released it.

I can certainly look into it for all or just a select few of the pieces.  Did you want all the pieces?  Or just some of them?  My personal faves are the desk and bookcase.  Even EAxis couldn't manage to match an entire set together. Let me know which one or all you want and I will find my mesh files.  Hopefully still separated. :/

I use the bookcase, desk, chair, and side table most. I like having the bench, too, especially for fireplace inglenooks, and entry halls.

Ok, I will see what I can map it too in IKEA.  :)

Just finishing up a mod-type-ish-cep thing to make the Ektorp and Klippan living set all be repository.

Just letting you know I have been working on this in the middle of the rest of the IKEA stuff I was doing.  I have the bookcase mapped to the Billy bookcase.  I was thinking of changing it to the bed though, just to stay within the hemnes set.  It's hard no matter since EA couldn't make any two pieces have the same textures.

I mapped the bench to one of the dressers, but I think I will try the bed instead.   The dressers are just too small I think.

I do appreciate all your work on this and I'm very patient! Maxis never makes any of their maps match- it's terribly frustrating.
