The only issue with tables as desks is homework I believe.  I don't think they automatically will put there homework on a table.  There is a mod over at MTS, that maybe it works with tables?  Not sure.

But I get bored very quickly with the lame desks Maxis has.  And office seems to be the least cc I see made.  But I just put a lamp in the one slot to avoid food there and a computer in the other.  Besides, my own desk is a modified table. :)

It does indeed work :)

The only problem I ever see with dining tables being used as desks is that occasionally, custom computers will "sink" a tiny bit into the table.  Usually, I see this with the mouse on the side.  But it's never interfered with the function.

Lunie you need to change the slot info before fixing the footprint or you lose the 2nd slot because it is linked to the 2nd tile.  The way to fix it is my 1 tile shelf with 2 slots - extract the slot package and replace the desk one with it then edit to link it in and you'll have 2 slots again  :laugh:

Gayle...do I really want to add a slot back in? :rofl  I think the slot is still there, I'm testing it still.  And I can't just replace cause I need routing slots for the desk part. :)  Trying to figure out which does what at this point.

I have the additional four tables done in 1 and/or 2 tile versions.

Lunie's Bin

After working on the meshes for the tables, I am not seeing a reason to make desks.  ???  The Industronovo one maybe.  But the Orb certainly qualifies as is for one, as does the Phoenix.  Take a look in game at them and see if anyone has any ideas on what to change for a desk.  It might be better to add the study check in the OBJD instead.

Thank you sooooooo much for these, I am beyond thrilled!  I don't think there's a need for desks either, the tables will work nicely if need be.  :)
