ECKTORP Sofas in 100 Colors- Updated Aug 22 2011

My friend Betsy (Lightheart) plays a mostly Maxis game, so for her birthday I've done the IKEA ECKTORP (must have IKEA Stuff pack) sofa in all of my linen colors and the IKEA LACK ones. I would never have done this without Lunie's repository fix here that makes the chair and loveseat take their textures from the sofa! Make sure you have it! Shown in cornflower.

WOW! I'm soooo glad I found this site last night!!!  And I'm back again tonight and found more goodies to play with!
I do have one question before downloading this amazing Ikea stuff. What is a repository? Do I have to get this and add it to my Sims game as well for all these wonderful colours to be used on my Ecktorp sofas? [I luvs my Ikea stuff]

Yes, you need to download Lunie's fix for the recolor to show up on the chair and loveseat. Otherwise, the recolor will only show up for the sofa

Okie Dokies And I'm off to grab some wicked looking stuff! Spent a bit of time lurking around the site and all but drooling  at some of the items y'all managed to create! I don't know the first thing about how to make Sims furniture. I can do the basic  like dye little Simmy's hair, change the colour of her t-shirt, and give her super girlie pink wallpaper or paint for her walls.  I leave the awesome creations to the experts...
and the very patient  lol

I need to look though my Ikea catalogues and see if some of my favorites are here [yup, I'm a bit of an Ikea addict]

(About the wallpaper. Laurie (L.J) is working on archiving all our Thyme2Sim stuff on his Simtopia forum. We'll really miss Thyme, closing day after tomorrow.)

Dearest Kate,

I'm on my PC now, and downloading my present! Lunie's fix, and the Lack zip downloaded just fine, but the Linen zip has problems.

I've tried 3 times; it timed out twice, and gave me the error message from the system the 3rd time. It's a big file--is that the problem? Has anyone else failed to grab the Linen file?

I really like the Ektorp set--how did you know it was one of my favorites?

Betsy, it's working for me, but I have very fast internet. I split the linen file up into small files by color (same link) so it should be okay now. Let me know if there's still a problem. I saw the Ecktorp set in several of your screen shots and it's one of my favorites as well. Your birthday helped to provide motivation so I should be thanking you

I've tried two nights running to download these files. None of them will load for me.   :(

I've managed to get other files from that Media Fire site. These ones are the only ones so far to give me problems while trying to download. Strange.

Tried again a few more times. I'm getting stuck in the "your download is starting" mode and then.... it timed itself out.
 Well poops.  :(

The smaller files worked just fine!  I have fast internet, too, so I don't understand why the large file wouldn't work.
