Boheme Match Dressers

Please find the REQUIRED Boheme Bedroom HERE

Dressers that match HolySimoly's La Boheme Bedroom. Dressers are slaves to the Boheme Armoire you must have the armoire in your game for the dressers to work. ALL CREDIT TO HOLY SIMOLY FOR THE ORIGINAL MESH.



Thanks to a nudge from BlueSoup the shadows have been :fixed 3/25/09 @ 1112 AM PDT please redownload if you downloaded these prior to the fix.

I have a really bad square shadow when placing these, but I don't see the texture alpha thingie in SimPE.  How do I get rid of it?

Can you post a pic BlueSoup? That would help me know exactly what you're talking about and I could fix it.

Getting rid of shadows requires a couple of steps and some familiarity with SimPE. You need to delete the shadows from the mesh itself in the GMDC, you need to delete the reference to the shadows in the SHPE and you need to delete the TXMT, and TXTR files as well.

I'm sorry Blue, I have a really bad habit of overlooking the shadows since I can't stand them and usually delete them from my meshes. It's a miracle I had even remembered to turn shadows on in game to see if they showed up  :P

However, I went back and compared the settings in my shadows TXMT to HS's Boheme EndTable, since that's where I got the shadow texture from, as well as comparing what file type the TXTR file was and changed the ones in the dresser packages to match their settings. You should like the shadows much better now.

I apologize for any inconvenience and thanks again for poking me and letting me know something wasn't quite right  :hug:

I use repository for shadows too Anne. :D  But I am trying to be better with my shadows too since I tend to forget, I know alot of people have nice video cards and they display wonderfully.  I however, am not one of those!

Yeah, the only reason I didn't this time is because I needed the shadow from the Boheme End Table but everything else (like the end table) was slaved to the armoire. And I didn't want to tell people they had to have both  :P

Yes, I know you tend to forget ;)  The one-tile Sendai bed as well as the Anes bed have shadow problems.  I was going to bug you next  :))

I do have a nice video card and the shadows all do show really nicely, which is why I use them.
